Ultra-Compact Optical Switch Using Phase-Change Material

摘要：

We proposed and fabricated ultra-compact optical gate switch using phase-change material. The length of the effective gate region was only 1 μm. The reversible switching with an extinction ratio of 15 dB was successfully demonstrated.
