Performance Investigation of Processing High-Speed Optical Signals Using Time- and Wavelength-Interleaved Pulses and Low-Speed Optoelectronics
We demonstrate the use of low-speed optoelectronic device to process high-speed optical signals with the use of time-and wavelength-interleaved pulses. Results show that the requirement on electronic bandwidth has been reduced using the wavelength division approach.
