Microfluidic Chip Coupled with Optical Molecular Imaging for Behavior Analysis
We demonstrate a microfluidic system allowing stable immobilization of young adult C.elegans for neuronal and behavior analysis upon chemical stimulations. Chemical stimuli were delivered to the head of the animal by rapid interface shifting of laminar flows and neuronal activities could then be monitored by in vivo Ca2+imaging.
