An Empirical Study on the City Innovation Capacity: the Case of Dalian of China
Enhancing enterprises as leading roles in innovation system has become an urgent and important issue for improving the current innovation level and setting up innovative cities and country. This paper takes city capacity as research object and builds urban innovation capability evaluation index system and models based on relevant literature reviews. Adopting projection pursuit calculation method, this paper takes the city of Dalian in China as an example to do empirical comparison analysis, explores the main problems in building city innovation capacity and proposes suggestions on improving city innovation capacity.
