Design and Implementation of FIR Filter Based on DSP

A design method of FIR filter based on DSP was introduced in detail. Firstly, using the aided design tool FDATool in MATLAB to design a FIR low-pass filter, and it was simulated to acquire the unit impulse response parameters of the FIR filter. A mixed input signal was filtered by using the method of linear buffer and dual operation address with moving bits on the TMS320VC5509A DSP chip. Experimental results show that the FIR filter which was designed can meet the design requirement.
