Study on the Influence of Mechanical properties on Impact Line of Hyperboloid Shallow Shell Forming

The impact line is one of surface deflections, and it affects forming accuracy and surface quality of auto-body panels seriously. The system of test and finite element analysis on impact line are established by analyzing the shapes and forming processes of auto-body panels, of which based on hyperboloid shallow shells. The influences of material mechanical properties on impact line are obtained. The change of yield strength causes little displacement effect, and the impact line displacement reduces with increasing of tensile strength and anisotropy parameter, and it increases with increasing of hardening exponent. Further analysis of contribution magnitude of various material mechanical properties on impact line is obtained finally. The tensile strength, hardening exponent and anisotropy parameter are key influencing factors of impact line, and the hardening plays the greatest role on impact line.
