Study of Foil-pack Aluminized at 630C on Ni-Fe-Cr-Al Alloy Sheet Fabricated by EB-PVD
The microstructure of Ni-based alloy sheet prepared by Electron Beam Physical Vapour Deposition(EB-PVD) and Aluminizated were studied by X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), and so on. The results show that the phase structures of the as-deposited Ni-base alloy sheet were Ni-based solid solution. The structure of as-deposited Ni-based alloy with microcrystal grain was compact, uniform and no precipitation. The phases of the alloy sheet were Al3Ni and Al3Ni2 when the aluminization was fulfilled at 630 at di ℃fferent times. The thickness of every layer was no more than 10μm. The coating was compact and a small amount of aluminum-rich region appeared in a small area. The interface between coating and substrate was clear and smooth, and macro-defect-free.
