Immobilization of Simulated HLW in Mineral-like Materials by the Self –propagatinting High –temperatures Synthesis
Samples of mineral-like ceramics based perovskite and model high-level radioactive wastes (strontium) were fabricated and tested by the SHS-densification.The PCT, XRD and SEM/EDS analysis show that the major phase is well concordant with the for mulation design.The samples was characterized by dense structure and fine chemical stability, It is a durable material with high-level waste loading and is in favor for final geological disposal.
