Effects of Intrinsic Material Parameters on the Deterioration of the Magnetic Properties by Laser or Mechanical Cutting

摘要：

In the paper the differences of the magnetic properties of low loss Fe-Si steel strips with different width prepared by mechanical cutting or laser cutting are pointed out. The influence of the intrinsic material parameters as well as of the composition of the steels on the resulting deterioration of the magnetic properties by induced residual stresses at cutting by laser or by mechanical cutting will be discussed.
