TD-GC-MS Analysis on Thermal Release Behavior of Poplar Composite Biomaterial under High Temperature
With the development of plantation forestry, poplar tree have become one of the most useful plantion species foe the composite biomaterials in China. Therefore, the thermal release behavior of poplar composite biomaterial under high temperature was studied by TD-GC/MS in order to reveal environmental protective performance. The results were: (1) The main constituents of thermal release volatiles at 90°С were acetic acid(81.45%), furfural(2.66%), cedrol(1.7%), formic acid(1.67%), benzenemethanamine, N-hydroxy-N-(p henylmethyl)-(1.42%), 2-propanone, 1-hydroxy-(0.88%), 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid, mono(2-ethylhexyl) ester(0.66%), etc. (2) The main constituents of thermal release volatiles at 150°С were acetic acid(68.55%), furfural(7.26%), formic acid(7.22%), 2-propanone, 1-hydroxy-(2.22%), thiourea(1.96%), 2-furancarboxaldehyde, 5-methyl-(1.82%), propane, 2-ethoxy-(1.37%), 2-furanmethanol(1.32%), 2-pentanone(0.72%), 1H-pyrrole-2-carboxaldehyde(0.72%), etc. So the poplar composite biomaterial was safe under high temperature, but its fire risk rised up.
