LaF3 polycrystalline powder ionic conduction performance
The experiment composes irreversible cells using ultrafine polycrystalline electrolyte powders pressed-discs and platinum slices, to measure the impedances of the cells at normal temperature with the help of Impedance spectroscopy. Given the equivalent circuits of the cells, we calculated the ionic conductivities of LaF3 polycrystalline powders. It is found that the ionic conductivities of the merchant LaF3 polycrystalline powder and the microwave method one are higher, to achieve 10-6 Scm-1, and they are better ionic conductors at normal temperature. Besides, the ionic conductivities vary according to the normal temperatures.
