The research on characteristic of dynamic electrostatic discharge on human body in the coal mine
It is studied that human bodys capacitance of miner changes with the different environment, bodys leakage resistance varies with voltage, and bodys voltage varies with bodys dynamic change in the different mine environment. “The modeling system of the gas detonation by electrostatic discharge in coal mine is developed to detonate gas safely. Human body ESD model is established. A series of experiments of exploding the gas by human bodys ESD are accomplishment by the system. It is concluded that human body ESD can provide more than 22kV/cm breakdown field strength of the mixed gas, and greater than 0.28mJ minimum ignition energy to detonate the gas. The results show the environment and value of the gas concentration that human bodys ESD the easiest detonate the gas.
