Numerical Modeling of Heat and Moisture Transfer During Microwave Drying of Wood Above FSP (Part Ⅰ:the Model)
Enriching and improving the theory of heat and moisture transfer during the microwave drying of wood has important theoretical meaning and practical value for controlling reasonably the microwave drying of wood and improving the quality of dried products. The paper establishes a numerical model of heat and moisture transfer based on volume averaging theory above the fiber saturation point (FSP) according to the internal heat and moisture transfer phenomena and different transfer mechanisms above FSP. In modeling, assuming that free water and vapor is moved in the different pressure potential taking into account the process of phase change.
