Research of the Humidity Control System of PEM Fuel

This paper analyzes the proton exchange membrane fuel cell membrane humidifier system, introduces the application NetCon humidifier controller data acquisition system and temperature control system integration program. We investigate the temperature of humidification system. Moreover, we control the humidifier system by means of integral PID algorithm in variable speed. Simulation and experimental results show that the identification obtained humidification system temperature model can accurately describe the controlled object at the same time control algorithm used in this article can be a satisfactory control effect. By analyzing experimental results, the steady performance and dynamic output characteristic of PEM Fuel Cell were obtained. They will be useful to optimize the performance of PEM Fuel Cell by changing relative operation conditions, in order to make better use of PEM Fuel Cell, an effective gas pressure and flow control system, combined with PID control algorithm was proposed. What differs from traditional methods is that the system is able to optimize the performance of PEM Fuel Cell by controlling gas pressure and flow at the same time.
