Preliminary Discussion on Classification of Metal Mines Tailings
With the increasing demand of mineral resources, the mining of metal mines gain great develop-ment and a lot of tailings are generated. Especially under the situation that a lot of metal mineral resources are depleted in domestic, metal ores and scrap metal needs to be a lot of imports, the other side a large number of random metal tailings are deposited and discarded. The reason is that the classification of metal tailings is not unified, and there are significant deficiencies in the management of metal mine tailings. This study reviewed a large number of literatures and learned from analysis of economic grade metal tailings model, so as to maximize the realization of the resources of the metal mines tailings. This will be an important practical significance on metal tailings management.
