Study on a Demonstrative Project of the Heat Utilization of Low-Quality Packaging Wastes in Cement Kilns
To solve the disposal problem of low-quality packaging wastes, the low-quality packaging wastes were processed into refuse derived fuel (RDF) first, and then placed into cement kilns to incinerate for resource reutilization. Through a demonstrative project, the technical and economic feasibility of heat utilization of low-quality packaging wastes in cement kilns was studied. As indicated by the results, when low-quality packaging wastes were incinerated in precalciner cement kilns with the clinker production capacity of 5000t/d at the feed rate of 6t/h, the incineration did not cause any negative impacts on the flue gas pollutants emission of the cement kiln, the environmental safety of the cement product as well as the output and quality of the clinker. Compared with regular cement production, the coal and raw material consumption of unit clinker in incinerating low-quality packaging RDF were smaller, but the power consumption of unit clinker was higher. When the sorting cost of low-quality packaging wastes reduced to 118 RMB/t, it can guarantee that the profit of the cement enterprise was equal to that of regular cement production even without disposal fee.
