Stakeholder Theory-Based Analysis on Centralized Medical Waste Disposal Policy

The continuous operation of the centralized medical waste disposal facilities shall be supported by supporting economic policies. This article introduced the status quo for the economic policies on centralized medical waste disposal in China first, and pointed out the two major problems existing in the current policies through research and analysis. The stakeholder theory analysis shows the centralized medical waste disposal economic policy involves six types of stakeholders including investors, government departments and medical institutions. Through the rights/benefit analysis of all stakeholders, their respective roles in the development and implementation of the centralized medical waste disposal economic policy were clarified. The analysis put forward four approaches to perfect the centralized medical waste disposal economic policy.
