Research on the nano-particle carbonates oxide cathode
The oxide cathode, as a core part of microwave devices, has greatly been improved in their emission performance in the past decades in order to adapt to the technical development of the microwave vacuum electron devices. In IECAS, a sub-micrometer carbonates cathode, with higher direct emission current density than that of the conventional needle carbonates cathode, has been developed in the past several years 1. In this paper, we report a research on the nano-particle carbonates oxide cathode for further enhancing the emission characteristics of the cathode.
