Effect of Nano-SiO2 Modification on Printing and Packaging Properties of Polypropylene Flexible Packaging Materials
The printing and packaging properties of ordinary Polypropylene (PP) materials were modified byself-made nanometer silicon dioxide (SiO2) and the effects of different SiO2 proportion were investigated. Theresults showed that SiO2 modification not only greatly increased the mechanic properties of PP but alsoimproved its universal performance including polarity, ink adhesion and solvents residual and therefore enablePP materials better meet the requirement for food packaging industry.
