Quality Evaluation of Strawberries Packed with Perforated Film
Perforated film packages were used to study the effect of perforation on weight loss, hardness, Vccontent, titratable acidity, and other quality characteristics of strawberries. The principal component analysiswas used for comprehensive evaluation of strawberry quality. The results showed that proper perforationswas useful to maintain strawberry quality, and the strawberries in nonperforated package were also betterbecause of internal atmosphere with low O2 and high CO2 concentrations.
