Study on Synthesis and Fluorescent Properties of Rare earth Europium Complexes
Rare earth materials are valued by their luminous intensity, good monochromaticity and so on ,widely areapplied in industry, agriculture, biology domain and so on. And in the packing and printing material aspect, as fluorescencematerial, rare earth complexes have the narrow emission spectrum, the high excitation purity and fluorescenceefficiency and stability , and they are green, can widely applied in falsification-resistant paper and falsification-resistantink aspect. In this paper, ternary and quaternary europium complexes were synthesized , we selected the high luminescentβ-diketones such as α-thenoyltrifluoroacetone(HTTA),fine fragrant carboxylic acid and o-phenanthroline asligands. The structure of the complexes were studied by IR spectrum, indicated that these complexes have bonded withthe ligands. The fluorescent properties were studied by fluorescence spectrophotometer, these europium complexesshowed invisible in the visible light and showed obvious fluorescence under ultraviolet light.
