Research of Flexible Manufacture System Based On PC and PMAC for Packaging Process
A flexible manufacture system(FMS) for packaging process is developed with a closed control systembased on PC and PMAC (Programmable Multi-Axis Controller) as the hardware platform. This systemadopts a hierarchical discrete architecture. Every unit has its own controller and communicates with the computervia serial port. An event-based coordination control strategy is provided for improving the flexibilityand robustness of the system. The test result shows the flexibility and effectiveness of the system.
