Progressing of New Verification Method and Technique with Heat Seal Function
Plastic comes to be used and has already been passed with the packaging material more than half acentury.And, there are materials indispensable to live of people today. The heat seal technique does a big contributionto the use development of a plastic packaging material. The heat seal technique uses thermoplastic, and thereis a feature in which a plastic film and the seat can be bonded by simple heating. The heat seal technologycarried out a function by completing a simple bonding in first stage. The finish of the high degree is demandedbecause it is applied to packaging like the retort, the medicine, and the precision machinery component,etc. today. The final function expected in the heat sealing is a guarantee of the openability and closability.Any dynamic environmental condition is related on these functions. Measures for standing the load of environmentalcondition must be applied proper heat sealing. However, the conventional method like ASTMF88-* and JIS Z 0238 is a discussion only of the heat sealing intensity. As a result, the method of aiming at astrong bonding is established and it overemphasizes it to the cohesion bonding. It is difficult to achieve damageby the shock loading and an easy opening in conventional methods. In this report, the defect in conventionalmethod is clarified in the discussion of qualified heat sealing. In addition, next matter is described.(1)Expectation function of the heat sealing is dynamically analyzed and is defined. (2) The presentation of therational test method which made melting surface temperature to be a parameter. (3) The presentation of thetest method which confirms the expectation function. (4) The approach by the manufacturing process of theexpectation function. (5) The presentation of heat sealing management map which integrated the above.
