On the participation of sport non-profit organizations (npos) in china s development of sport for all
Introduction: Chinese government always focuses on developing undertakings of physical culture and sports, building up the people s physique. The modern Chinese sports system is a typical government-oriented management pattern, which originated in the 1950s on the ground of insufficient sports demands and supplies. With the reform of sports management system since the 1990s, China turns to seek systematic methods to solve the developing problems of sports from social perspective, and recognizes the unique role that non-profit organizations play in the social undertakings. Just because lack of non-profit sport organizations rooted in the society, Chinese government has taken as its responsibility to set up such organizations. This means that the supply mission of sport public service has turned from the government to non-profit sport associations.
