Relationship between muscular stiffness, elasticity and bone mineral density in healthy postmenopausal women
Introduction: It has been demonstrated that a novel myometric method for diagnosing the properties of the skeletal muscles or soft tissue, and a significant correlation between muscle strength and bone mineral den-sity(BMD) in postmenopausal women. The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlationship between muscle stiffness and BMD in healthy postmenopausal women.
