Effect of blocking PI3K and exercise on mtor pathway in rat skeletal muscle
Objective: The PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway was predominant pathway in muscle protein synthesis. It was unclear that the influence of blocking PI3K in vivo on this pathway during resistance exercise. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of PI3 K/Akt/mTOR pathway on muscle protein synthesis in resistance exercise model through blocking PI3K.
