Cognitive intervention of flow state in sport
Introduction: A moderately strong relationship exists between flow dispositions and goal setting (Kee & John Wang, 2007). This relationship is likely a function of the cognitive influence of goal setting. Whereas a superordinate goal appeals primarily to affect, goal setting is first and foremost a cognitive variable (Latham, 2003). Therefore, the purpose of this study was to increases the possibility of flow s occurring through cognitive intervention of goal setting.
