Olympism in China

Introduction: Hosting the Olympic Games is an important opportunity to disseminate the Olympism in a specific area. After eight years of preparation and hosting the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, most Chinese got to have a basic conception of what Olympic Games about. But it is still difficult to say how well they finally understand the Olympism. Olympism is a wide-definition to generally cover the whole ideology in the Olympic Movement. It is not easy to clearly understand the definition of Olympism and its dissemination in China.
