An exploration of the low-carbon Asian Games management and operation mechanism: from concept to practice
Introduction: Until recently, there have been various problems in major sports events held in China like being low in technology application and sustainable utilization, high in energy consumpion and emission, and usually operated in the traditional exensive way. In the post-Olympic era, with China being a responsible spors nation, it s important for China to hand down the Green Olympic Concept, to strive for the objective of green sports, to integrate with the international community and to demonstrate a positive image. The thesis attempts to introduce alow-carbonoperation concept in order to improve or create a new sports event management process and operation mechanism.
