A research on the government s role in the development of competitive sports in Yangtze river delta area
Introduction: 《2001 -2010 sports reform and development program》 clearly proposes the Chinese reform goal of physical education, to further clarify the government and society, and to realize the separation between politics and affairs. ?Experts also points out that government behavior even determines its athletic sports development direction, development speed and scale. New stage and new development condition requires the government to choose management goals of competitive sports again. This research is based on Yangtze river delta area, combine it with its unique economic, social, environmental and athletic sports development status, and make a deep analysis of the role that the government plays in the development of competitive sports, thus providing some references for the further reform of competitive sports management function of the government.
