The path of reform and development on common college students after-school sports competition
Introduction: The after-school sports competition of common college students is organized independently by schools and departments to recruit common students rather than special high-level players to carry out various sports competitions inside and outside the schools in their spare time. The view of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on strengthening the Youth Sports and enhancing their constitution emphasizes that every student should take extra-curricular physical exercise at least three times per week. The data shows the participation rate is not high, an average of only 3. 4 hours per week. The number of students who exercise more than three times per week and each time is not less than 1 hour is not big. Therefore, to enhance the participation of college students in the after-school sports competition and to further implement the sunshine sports, the path of reform and development in the after-school sports competition of common college students is an practical significance.
