The effect of perceiving self-position and posture on reaction time

摘要：

Introduction: In combat sports such as a karate match, there is a strong requirement to perceive ones own information in order to select an appropriate technique according to the spatial relationship between oneself and an opponent. Until now, little attention has been given to perception of a players own position and posture information. In this study, we investigated self-perception of novice and expert karate athletes.
