Effects of chronic intermittent high intensity exercise on autonomic nerve system and body fat of obese women
Introduction: This study aimed to evaluate the validity of intermittent high intensity exercise (IHIE) on body fat reduction in obese people, as well as to analyze its mechanism from the view of autonomic nerve system (ANS). Methods: 51 obese female students (21.3 ?1. 8 years old; sedentary; without the cure of weight control such as on diet, medication and operation; regular menstrual cycle, whole body fat% >25 %) was assign into three groups randomly: Resting control group (RC group) , persistent moderate intensity exercise group (PMIE group) and intermittent high intensity exercise group (IHIE group).
