Prediction of Measured iBurstTM Signal by Linear and Logarithmic Regression on Distance from Base Station
This paper introduces ISIS as an application of iBurstTM a Mobile Broadband Wireless Access technology based on the IEEE 802.20 standard. iBurstTMmeasurements were performed to study its performance in different environments. Using the measured data a linear regression by method of least squares and a logarithmic re-gression of the measured iBurstTMsignal is per-formed with distance from the base station as a variable. Using this method of regression, an approximate prediction of iBurstTMsignal fading can be achieved.
