Controlling Extraordinary Optical Transmission by Subwavelength Hole Arrays -Bragg gratings structure

We demonstrate a controlling of extraordinary optical transmission by using a novel structure composed of metal film with subwavelength hole arrays and Bragg structure. Extraordinary optical transmission through periodic arrays of subwavelength holes usually presents two obvious speaks. By controlling parameters of Bragg structure such as refractive indices or thickness, we can realize the switching of one of the peaks of extraordinary optical transmission. This structure might be used as tuneable filters in future integrated optical circuit.
