Comparisons between methods to simulate beam splitter

摘要：

Three methods are presented in this paper to simulate beam splitter which has been widely used in many aspects. The beam splitter can be achieved by coupling of parallel nanowires, surface plasmon polaritons in silver surface or the defects in photonic crystal. The paper sums up with comparisons between these methods.
