Comprehensive Control Technologies for Extraordinarily High Gas Emission from Fully-Mechanized Working Face

The 33207 working face is the coal-mining face with extraordinarily high gas emission. According to the characteristics of coal seam occurrence and gas emission in 33207 working face, the gas emission quantity is measured by element method and the gas emission source is analyzed, finally the law of gas emission and gas migration are obtained. According to the control experience and technology of previous working faces, the “five-in-one comprehensive control technologies are adopted as follows: U type ventilation, shallow borehole drainage technology in pressure relief region of working face, fan borehole drainage technology in coal-mining seam, roof borehole drainage technology, and gas drainage technology of top corner by inner interlocked low tail laneway. Finally, the drainage technics and application condition on all drainage methods are obtained. By these measures, the problem of gas emission and gas over limit of working face with extraordinarily high gas emission is solved efficiently, and the outburst danger of gas and coal is eliminated, so safety production is ensured. The “five-in-one comprehensive control technologies can offer the instruction for the similar working face with extraordinarily high gas emission.
