Study on Characteristics of Mercury Content and It’s Transporting in washing –Selecting of Huainan Raw Coal
The coal field of Huainan, whose annual production has already exceeded a hundred million tons, is the largest one in East China for its extant coal resources and development potential. With the exploitable quantity constantly increasing, the influence of released mercury on environment, during the process of developing and utilizing coal in Huainan area, has become a great concern. It will take many factors into consideration to estimate the quantity of mercury discharged by fire coal and mercury content of raw coal is one of the important basic data. Taking raw coal samples in Huainan area used as the research objects, selects AMA254 mercury analyzer to determine mercury content and studies the changing laws according to which mercury content changes with the depth of coal seam. Analyzes the distribution characteristics of mercury content in the same coal seam based on 8 coal samples, meanwhile, studies the change of mercury content in different mining areas while taking each mining area as the research object. The result shows that the mercury content of raw coal in Huainan area is within the range of general mercury content of most raw coal at home and abroad and the phenomenon of anomalous mercury concentration did not appear. Through determining the change of mercury content during the washing and selecting of raw coal, it will provide a basis for studying how to get rid of the mercury of raw coal effectively and studying the occurrence modes of mercury of raw coal in Huainan area.
