Miniature LTCC Broadband Bandpass Filter Using Three-dimensional Hairpin Resonators
A novel three-dimensional hairpin resonators with via in LTCC is introduced to realize miniature broadband band-pass filters. By using this novel resonator, the size of the filter is sharply reduced and the coupling of the resonators is 1.6 times than the traditional structures. Wider band and selectivity are obtained by exploiting five novel resonators. Based on this structure, a broadband band-pass filter is designed whose center frequency is at 10GHz. The simulation results show that the insertion loss is better than 1.5dB with the band within 8.5~11.5GHz, and obtain a better selectivity through the use of DGS structure.
