Texture Improvement by Asymmetric Rolling in Non-Oriented Silicon Steel Sheets
In present woik , the hot band of non-oriented electrical steel was cold rolled with 30% , 55% , 70% and 80% reduction by conventional rolling and asymmetric rolling with speed ratio of 1. 125. Cold rolling textures are all mainly composed of y (< 111 >//ND) and a (< 110 >//RD) fibers during cold rolling process. The experiment shows that asymmetric rolling accelerates rotation path 001 < 110>? 112 < 110 >? 223 < 110>, and retards rotation path 110 <001>? 111< 112>? 111 < 110 >. As a result, asymmetric cold rolling tends to promote 111 < 112>component and suppress a liber, which is benelicial lor the improvement ol re crystallisation texture. The different textures evolution can be explained in terms of the particular shera strain distribution by asymmetric rolling.
