Calibration Test of Doppler Ultrasonic Flow-meter
This paper mainly introduces the calibration situation of the model test of Doppler ultrasonic flow meter. The calibration is carried out in the standard glass water tank, and the output of the test instrument is evaluated by the actual measured flow. With regard to the influence of the cross section form, the test calibrations are implemented for different cross sections. Comparison of the instruments output flow and the measuring weirs measured flow shows, in the current layout method of instruments, for different cross section forms, and on the basis of comparison of its test result and the measuring weirs measured result, the instruments flow test accuracy is higher, and has the best regularity of the test result for the rectangle cross section. This provides a reliable basis for the application of such model of flow meter, when the simplified formula for simplified measurement in application is proposed in the paper.
