Study of Transport Characteristics of Chinese Sturgeons Eggs by Field Investigation and Numerical Simulation
Chinese sturgeon is one of the endangered animals in China, this paper initially studies their eggs transport characteristics in Yangtze River. Based on the three dimensional hydrodynamic model and particle tracking method, the trajectories of drifting eggs are obtained by numerical simulation, further more, this method is used to predict the spawning grounds of Chinese sturgeon in 2009.
