Experimental Study and Numerical Simulation on the Dynamic Characteristics of One Large Plate Gate

Elasticity similitude model of one large plate steel gate was made and experiment mode analysis method was employed to study the dynamic characteristics of the gate structure. Meanwhile, numerical simulation means with three-dimensional finite element method was used to calculate the natural vibration characteristics of the gate. The results indicated that the calculated values and experimental values of the natural vibration frequencies of the gate were very close to each other and the vibration modes of the former several phases were consistent, which proved that analysis results of the dynamic characteristics were correct. By the way, the influence of the flowstructure interaction on the dynamic characteristics of the gate was researched by numerical simulation.
