Advance of Gas Bubble Disease and Dissolved Gas Supersaturation in River Channels

This paper is a review of gas bubble disease and dissolved gas supersaturation in river downstream of dams. High speed aerated flow arisen by discharge of dams can lead to dissolved gas supersaturation downstream, initiate gas bubble disease and threaten the security of water ecology downstream. The research of gas bubble disease and dissolved gas supersaturation in river was reviewed. Cause and symptom of gas bubble disease, mechanism, factors and harm of dissolved gas supersaturation were also introduced.
