The Visualization of Open Channel Flow with Submerged Flexible Vegetation by PIV
The PVC material is used to simulate the flexible vegetation to conduct the research in glass flume. Two-dimensional high-frame rate PIV is used to measure the flow field with submerged flexible vegetation. And then time average velocity field, vorticity field and turbulent entropy are obtained. The investigation gives a new approach to further reveal the ecological hydraulics research with submerged flexible vegetation.
