Prototype Observations on Vibration Performance of Drain Grating in Paunglaung Myanmar

This essay presents the prototype observations results on ground working gate and dynamic characteristics of drain grating in Myanmar Paunglaung Hydropower Station. Through system testing and recognition on the vibration model of main beam of gate and drain grating in downstream and lateral directions, we acquire the characteristics of vibration model in two main directions. By means of analysis we also acquire the influence degree the aqueous medium acting on the vibratory frequency of gate structure. It points out if the aqueous medium is taken into consideration the model vibratory frequency of main beam in lateral direction will be relatively low. Besides, we conduct parametric recognition to the vibration mode of drain grating gate leaf, acquiring the vibration mode parameters of drain grating gate leaf, which provides estimation basis for sluicing vibration. In conclusion interrelated suggestions and requirements are proposed for operation of ground gate and drain grating according to prototype observation results.
