The difference of destruction efficiency between quantum dots CdSe-PDT and CdSeS-PDT on HL60 cells in vitro
Leukemia HL60 cells are inactivated by quantum dotswith the photoluminescence characteristic in vitro. The quantumdots of CdSe and CdSeS were studied at different concentrationsand different light doses. The highest inactivation efficiency ofCdSe-PDT runs up to 83.0%, under the condition that itsconcentration is 2.0 μmol/ml and the light dose is 8J/cm 2corresponding to 410nm wavelength. However, the highestinactivation efficiency of CdSeS-PDT is just 45.9% when itsconcentration is 8.0 μmol/ml and the light dose is 6J/cm 2corresponding to white light.
