Photodynamic effects of Quantum dots on inactivation of leukemic HL60 cells in vitro
Photosensitization of quantum dots was activated witha LED light source (410nm) delivered at 5mw/cm 2 to give adifferent dose by altering the radiation period. Cellularproliferative activity and apoptosis was measured using the cellcounting kit-8 (CCK-8) assay. After four hours followingphotodynamic treatment, the degree of apoptosis wassignificantly increased, and the best experimental parameters ofinactivation of leukemic HL60 cells in vitro, 2.0×10 -6 mol/l (theconcentration of QDs), 18J/cm 2 (the radiation dose), wereobtained.
