FEM Analysis of Electromagnetic Drive of Bladder Power Pump
The driving capability of bladder power pump (BPP)is affectd by the control and structure parameters of theelectromagnetic drive of the BPP. To study the driving capability,a three-dimensional finite element model of the electromagneticdrive is built using finite element method (FEM). The drivingcapability is investigated by means of the model, taking intoaccount the control and structure parameters such as the excitingcurrent of electromagnet, the number, interval size and initialangle of permanent magnets (PMs). The FEM analysis resultsshow that the driving capability is enhanced by reasonablyincreasing the exciting current of the electromagnet and thenumber of the PMs, and reducing the interval size and initialangle of the PMs. The research conclusions provide a beneficialguidance for the optimal structure design of the electromagneticdrive of the BPP.
