A Feasibility Study on Noninvasive Blood Glucose Measurement Using Photoacoustic Method
Diabetes is a disease of concern, which affects vitalorgans of body. In order to prevent complications, frequentglucose measurement is necessary. This paper presents a possiblemethodology for noninvasive blood glucose measurement usingphotoacoustic (PA) method. Although encouraging results have been obtained using the developed system, certain other errorsources like melanin content of skin, tissue and skin profiles,variation of blood flow due to pressure changes, should also beconsidered and investigated.
